Boozy Angels

These little angels are very easy to make if you have an hour or so, lots of corks and cocktail sticks (hence the name) and a few bits and pieces. I used gouache for the heads and viscose doll hair-though string, wool or felt would do I think. The heads are cotton beads-a useful discovery for making little doll heads. I used raffia for the arms and sections of doily for the wings. All gluing was done with a hot glue gun.

No animation today I am afraid-it wouldn't work. Two tomorrow if it works then!

These are delightful! I bet you came up with the idea on your own too. I love their hair and the wings especially.

I love the hair as well. If the bottom falls out of teaching you could be a stylist!

Ha ha! Yes I would love to be a stylist! And yes-I did come up with it on my own!

What a neat idea. I might get round to giving it a try. I'm always collecting corks, but don't have a use for them!

Fun little ladies. Each one is a unique individual full of personality. And maybe a little wine. :oD

Hi, Sarah! What fun these boozy angel--terrific idea! We're back from our Thanksgiving/USA trip--had wonderful time! I'm slowing getting to visiting and such though, as I've not been feeling too well in recent days--but getting there. Great to be catching up with you and back in blogland. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

Oh, I love holidays crafts like this. The doll hair gives a really nice, swirly effect.
