Flower Scissor

I love old scissors. These have a slightly serated edge and cut very well. This flower broke off as I was putting the bunch in a vase. I put it in the dish in some water. I had cut it right at the start of the petals and was interested to see how they broke apart.

They do look very appealing. Never thought of collecting scissors... oh dear.
Love your squirrel pictures by the way. There are some brave ones in the park here, but perhaps not quite that bold!!

Scissors usually outlive their owners plus generations thereafter. I have scissors that belonged to my grandmother. I wish I knew where she got them. I'll have to pass the story of my mother's scissors to my grandchildren.

I do like the contemplative and serene flower arrangement.
