Freecycle Rainbows

I freecycled some MDF shelves from the shed today, and when I was helping the man to carry them to his car, I turned around and saw this double rainbow. I would not have seen it if I had not been out there at that precise moment. Lucky chance!
The shower was heavy, and my camera lens got wet. This caused some pretty effects, and some rainbows in the raindrops.

Aren't rainbows just the best gift. All we have to do is be in the right place at the right time to enjoy them. Your double rainbow is especially superb!

The effects of the raindrops on your camera are also fun. I like the second photo especially where the drops are in focus and are tiny upside down mirror images.

You were lucky indeed - I'm still hoping for a half-decent shot of a single rainbow:-)
Hasn't the weather been changeable lately?

I love rainbows - I always think they are a good omen. The "special effects" of the raindros are fun.

What a spectacular light show- i suppose if we saw this everyday it wouldn't be so special but these shots are so uncommonly beautiful! Good timing!
