Morning

A red plastic teaspoon in an orange penguin mug of one of my favourite books. Little things! I like the first part of the morning in the holidays, which I ususally spend drinking my coffee, eating my toast and catching up on internet affairs. Like a Victorian lady doing her correspondence, except I am more sloppily dressed in my dressing gown! This morning also involved a play session with Cassie and Tiger, using the long feather on a stick toy, one of their favourites. Cassie is a terribly spoiled cat, I don't know who did that. She is very demanding at certain times of day (all times of day) for treats, which she likes to chase. We try to limit treat times to last thing at night, and just before we go to work, but our ideas of when it should stop are quite far apart. So when I am getting my breakfast, she thinks treat time should resume.
Here she has just run up onto the settee and leapt onto its arm, but has then been distracted by a sound.
Here she has just rucked up all the rugs, knocked off her sparkly cloth, and is now chasing her tail. She does calm down after a while and usually eats some normal food, or goes out for an adventure!

I love it when I don't have to go to work or anywhere else in the morning.
Enjoy your easter break!
Mine starts tomorrow.

Hooray for breaks from the work routine. The cats must appreciate a little quality time with the people of their house.

Cassie will keep you entertained should you get bored at home! Have a lovely holiday drinking coffee from your fabulous cup.

Have you noticed she looks a lot like Colette? Another spoiled feline and I cannot, like you, imagine who could possibly be responsible. You have given me the impetus to start publishing the recipes both in oz and grams.

Looking at the stats I have visitors from all over the world so it would seem appropriate to do so, so thank you dear, as always you are very observant and helpful with your suggestions. And where oh, where did you get that fabulous cup? Do tell.
