Impressions of Dover Castle

We visited Dover castle today. It is huge and solid, and the grey day went well with the mood it conjures up. We had lunch in the Naafi Café-another great rhyme! Very tasty and it set us up for the lots of steps and hills as we looked around.Even on such a day, you can see France from here. This cliff fall happened only last month. It is just nearby the ferry port.
Looking through the window of the disused barracks-the building is unstable and awaiting repair.
The rusty spears of the barracks fence.
The quite scary medieval tunnel.
