More Faversham

So many historical buildings. Faversham is a medieval town and one of the Cinque ports like Rye. I took so many photos yesterday it is hard to choose my favourites, hence the fifteen today and ten yesterday! There will be a few more tomorrow-illustrations of shopping by candlelight and other retail delights.

I was so surprised when I visited Faversham and saw how lovely it was. I had imagined it, somehow, to be rather suburban. But everywhere I looked there was something interesting. Your photos remind me of it.

What a great post, you have such a great eye.. And a good camera?... My husband comes from one of the Cinque Ports, Brightlingsea, I don't know if you've heard of it, on the East coast..

Beautiful! I don't remember Faversham though I must have been there many years ago. I didn't know it was one of the Cinque Ports.
