Lovely Friday

Today everyone has been in a good mood. The sun has come out and it actually felt warm this afternoon, as opposed to bitterly cold like the rest of the week. Not that I am complaining as I love the cold. I drove home into the sunset again, this time stopping on the edge of Blackheath to take photos before walking to the post office to post some little things for a swap.

I love how this sign glows in the twilight, and must have known what we would have for our dinner! Mmmm!

Snow is forecast for tomorrow. I am excited about this but slightly worried as we are going to Brighton and I don't want to get stuck there. I have never been to the seaside in the snow.

Wow, hope that it is not so snowy that people will get marooned. This does NOT sound like fun. But it is freezing, cant seem to get warm.

Gorgeous sunset and evening photos. Hope you have fun in Brighton. I would be there by the sea, even in the snow, if I could.

Hope you get to Brighton and back. We have some snow here and it's accompanied with lovely bright sunshine.
Enjoy your weekend.

Lovely light, Sarah... I like how the Chinese sign rather echos the light quality of the sky in the top photo. Hope all goes well for you going to Brighton this weekend... enjoy! Happy Days ((HUGS))

I love your sunset photos.
I had never walked on Blackheath until last year when I went with my middle daughter. I was used to driving past it en route from Kent to Wiltshire after visiting our parents. I was entranced by it - and by the village - Nappy Valley as my daughter called it!
We have had snow but it's melted though not enough so it will be icy tomorrow. Drive carefully!

We had about four inches of snow overnight. There has been no more today, but the temperature has stayed low and so the snow is still on the ground. I LOVE it! I don't think I've ever been to the beach in the snow either!!! Hope you had a good time. Ros

Wow, snow. One day, hopefully, I'll see it for real. I think the seaside in snow might be fun. What does a beach look like when it snows? The mind boggles! We are experiencing a heatwave. Not so nice. Snous wilts and so do I ...
