Goldilocks needed better manners. Perhaps if she didn't break and enter like a common thief and waited for the bears to come home she would have received better hospitality.

I always wondered if Goldilocks thought of leaving both an apology and a bread and butter note of gratitude to the Bear family for their hospitality?
