Upnor

It has been a lovely weekend with visits, cosy cats, crocheting, gardening and even some work. On Friday we visited Upnor again for a little stroll and then lunch in the pub. An extremely filling and quite stodgy,  but tasty,  Steak and Ale pie. We popped over to Rochester then home again. Upnor is such a pretty place, though I am sure living there has its downside in that tourists are always photographing your house.

This gate and house are just so storybook like. The house overlooks the river.
Strange medieval looking guardians are all the rage in Upnor.

This sign explains how the jetty is temporarily out of use. A long version of temporary judging by the state of it.

Truly a place worthy of tourist photographs. I love the stonework, the mossy-ness and the oldness of the place. Thanks for the view. Good to see you've got some blue skies. Same here for a day or so. Here comes the sun! It's been a long cold, lonely winter. It seems like years since it's been clear.

Oh, yeah. Somebody already said that.

What a pretty little place. Love those guardians! I always love an awayday trip and I don't mind if it's via photographs! Ros
