False Blossom and a Catnip Severed Leg

Sugared almond pink false  blossom in Greenwich. I had to check to make sure it wasn't real-a bit like the owl really but the opposite result! I wanted the light coming into the alley beyond and had to wait for a little while for people to get out of my way! How inconsiderate to browse in the shop window when I am waiting to take a photo!
But then this little girl with the red pom poms appeared and she was a welcome addition to the picture!
Cassie has been making the best of things by playing a lot in this large box. Every so often we put a box on the floor for her amusement and she usually gets bored of them after a while. Not this one! It is the perfect size for playing, sleeping, waiting in ambush for Tiger and Lily, and sometimes retrieving treats from.

Here, she is enjoying her catnip leg, bought from Life With Tigers here.

Had me really worried there when I saw the word "severed". Glad to see it was just an observation.
Even our old boy, Gilbert (20, come August) likes to bat around a catnip mouse once in a while. You gotta love that!

Deaf as a post, but still a big loveable softie.

Cassie has quite the vantage space with her box!

She looks lovely and a little scary guarding her box!! Mine like boxes and shopping bags as well.

Cassie definitely has a bot of the wildside look to her in these photos... a lioness at the ready to pounce :o)
Have a great day.

The nerve of some people getting in the way of your fine photography. heh
Children in cute hats can add to almost any photo, though.

Love Cassie's wild catnip look. I saw a photo somewhere of a full size lion sitting in a box just like a house cat. Must be something in their DNA. Or, unlike people, cats know it's important to play like a kid.
