Felty Tree

I have made a felt tree, using wire and the hebridean wool. The branches make me think of fingers-or spiders legs and I am not sure about it yet. (Especially after encountering spiders the size of mice this morning-well nearly!-and too strong for the spider hoover!)
I liked it better when some creatures and magical people moved in. They made it look more tree like.
The bird never stops talking, and sometimes, this annoys the tiger.
So far it has not had a disastrous result.
The fairy feller's friend has found a circus horse-from India she thinks.
The tiger is her pet, so this is not as brave as it seems.

Your felty tree has attracted some very interesting creatures/people. You could write a whole, fun book about that set-up. Looking forward to your book tour. Hope you'll stop by Salt Lake City since no one thinks to visit Idaho. And we like it that way.

How did I get there from "cool tree" Hmmmm.

OH YES! Love the tree, I made branches a while ago and still have not decided what to do with them- I added flowers to some but i think that i like them bare, like yours, better. Looks like a good place for the "amazings" to have a gathering- to have a tiger for a pet is remarkable, their teeth are rather serious so i do think that bravery is in the mix!

Good fun - I think you will need to make some butterflies for the tree!

You make the funnest things and people! Love your tree. That bird sure does look like a chatterbox. Maybe if he had a bit of taffy he would keep quiet for a bit...

I like the way the Bird is sitting so casually with his legs crossed.
Don't your cats catch spiders? Winston does - they're a bit peppery for him but he eats them anyway.
