Shadow Shot Sunday

Really sunny Sunday last week. The reflections of the handles on the cupboard had their own shadows.
A little rose tree now stands where the Christmas tree was. Long woman of Woolwich this week. My shadow falling across the corner of base camp in Forest School. Base camp is such a dramatic name isn't it-but that is what we call it! I call out 'Everybody back to base camp' loudly when it is time for our snack, drink and chat. I am not starting Forest School until the 19th. I wonder of there will still be snow then. It has melted a lot today and the met office have withdrawn their severe weather warning. So it looks as if it will be school as normal tomorrow!

How lovely to have sunshine in your snowy conditions ... love the beautiful rose and it's fun to see your shadow and learn about 'base camp' too ;-)

Nice to "see you" out there on the backyard on the snow. The few red dots in the first one made it cool too.

The handles look like post it notes! Great shots!

When we were children, we called a 'base camp' a 'den' in games such as 'hide and seek'. Lovely shadows! We managed to go for some shopping this morning - but in my car - Malcolm isn't risking taking the new one out!!!

That first photo is stunning, Sarah!

(I thought the handles looked like post-it notes, too)

Oh, I love that shot of the rose and its shadow. Very lovely! But that snow looks really, really cold.

Happy Sunday from

That little red rose is just perfect! Does it bear the cold well?

Lovely shadows, Sarah - I don't envy you playground duty, though!

That one at the bottom looks like an elongated music note to me!
They are beautiful shots Sarah.
The snow falling up here today looked just like the snow falling on your blog!
