The beautiful yellow rose that is growing in Jo's garden.
I may be becoming very boring by now, but I am still working on the fence. It is so difficult! I have one more panel to go, and put like that it doesn't sound much. But, the panel I did today took me all day. It was very reluctant to come out-after unscrewing it (the easy bit-especially since whoever put it there in the first place didn't put many screws in to hold it up. They must have foreseen the ivy!) I prised it with my beautifully strong Spear and Jackson spade. I kicked it, feeling like some kind of Ninja-until my foot went through! I sawed it, pulled and pushed it, banged it against the tree stump several times to (hopefully) dislodge most of the spiders. I packed it, wrapped it, and drove it to the tip. I drive along in fear of a big spider creeping over my shoulder. I carry the spider hoover with me just in case! I am having a break from it tomorrow and going out for the day with my Mum-hurrah!

Cassie went to the vet's this morning. We were in there about three minutes-her lump is just the stitches in the muscle layer and nothing to worry about. Phew! Here she is looking particularly silly with her large ear turned inside out by washing. I had to turn it back for her after taking the photos!
