Illustration Friday link here.I have speedily had a go at this week's theme which is 'contained'. I get the email every week but have not been able to think of anything for the last few or if I have I couldn't draw it. This week this idea popped into my head and the picture has suggested lots of other words to me including potential, future, hope, faith, imagine and nurture. I do not actually have an acorn in the house, a fact which amazes me. I have umpteen shells, stones, sticks, seed pods, skulls-all sorts of natural ephemera but no acorn. So, we took a quick trip to the park in the dark. The people next to us gave us their parking ticket as the machine was out of order. I don't know what they must have thought we were up to. We found an oak tree but no acorns. It is probably the wrong time of the year. I must find out! Anyway, I used google images for source material in the end.
