Lovely, Sarah. The sun is so welcome at this time of year. Great shadows, too. I envy you your mini murmuration of starlings. The most we ever see are two dozen or so flying to and from our feeders.
A sunny day is a treat in the later autumn - as the clocks were changed, dark starts to arrive in our neighborhood about 16:40, the lack of sun decreasing every day toward 21 December. So any room awash in sunlight has in it a treasure - the burst of light and warmth. On a cold day, steaming tea and sunlight is to be savored!
Love sweet kitty in your blog header and Tiger sure can put on the charm when she is feeling under-represented:)
Your photos of the morning tea really look calm and inviting!
And sweet watercolors of Sadie:)
I caught the video below of the Murmuration. That video is so amazing! I happened to see this on a smaller scale when I was looking outside a 4th floor window. Mesmerizing.
Love your shots! You always manage to create such atmosphere. They are really beautiful. It's been a mixed bag here in the east today. We've had rain, sun and gusty wind. I don't mind in the least, when it's a day like today, for staying at home and getting jobs done.

Fantastic shadow shots.
Looks like happy little spirits rising and flying freely to the sunshine in the last photo.
Nice shot, a lovely spot to sit and take in some sunshine.
Have a great week.
Lovely - I think it is time I put the kettle on.

Nothing like a sunny window to add cheer to a home. Great pics!
This is beautiful how you made use of the sunlight in your photos! I like how you captured the steam coming off your tea, too.
Lovely shots. I love a cup of tea.
the absolute perfect combination sun and steaming tea!!
Super photos. I particularly like the wisps of steam in the last one.
This looks so warm and welcoming. I also like the wisps of steam in the last photo.
I enjoy a nice cup of tea, but end up making a pot of coffee in the morning. Americans!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. ;-)
Beautiful shadows!
Shadow at my page, please come and see.

I'm sure your tea tasted scrumptious too1
SHADOWY DELIGHT
Shadows above me, shadows below,
Shadows beside me, wherever I go;
Shadows each morning, shadows at night—
Shadows, O shadows, you’re my delight!

Is that acrylic paint next to your mug?
