We did long exposure photo drawings in the class yesterday. I have tried this before by moving the light source but had not thought of moving the camera! Tonight I did some more, using the full moon. My upstairs neighbours are away at the moment so there were no naked men and nobody to see me standing and moving my camera around towards the moon. 
This is not a drawing, but I like the way the moon looks like a heart.
Oh-this one is not a drawing either-but the street view over our fence, behind the jasmine. This is the only part of the garden where we are not overlooked, so I have considered putting a bench here.
Here are the drawings! Hearts. I discovered you have to draw the thing you want upside down, and it comes out the right way up. The first one is the lights in the picture above -streetlamp, windows and a bit of the moon.
This is taken with long exposure and high ISO-it has a kind of watery effect.
This is of the crocheted blanket on the futon and the rug in front. I slightly moved the camera while waiting for the long exposure to finish.

That looks like it was fun. I like the one that looks like a Monet painting, with the watery effect.
I always like to draw letters in the air with sparklers, at night, and then photograph them.
Digital photography has certainly given us freedom to experiment with our cameras. Unlimited shots as long as our batteries hold out, and then instant feedback. I love it! Your photos are great. I'm glad your strange neighbor left long enough for you to play in the dark.
Oh - that looks like a lot of fun - I would run out into the garden to try iy out - but I've got my jammies on!!
