Glowing

Lights glowing in windows, and at dusk are one of my favourite sights. Here are some I collected on my walk the other day.

A lovely collection of buildings! Being basically a nosy person, I do like when windows are lit and you can have a sneaky peek in!!

Wonderful to see someone practising their flute! Could you hear it as well?

Beautiful pictures especially the windows with the chandeliers

I couldn't hear the flute as I was quite far away. But usually walking through there you can hear all sorts of music being played.

So love the first photo- such a warm inviting glow.Makes me want to paint my house warm glowish colours but in the northern light it would look ill.

Nice, I like the sight of lights in evening windows too, at least in Autumn and winter.

I too love the transition from day tonight, and the lovely yellow in windows at dusk is the perfect way to show it.

Lovely shots. I love that time of day and likewise love lighted windows at this time of year. How lovely to be able to hear music coming from the windows on occasion too.

It looks like a great place to go for a walk. I agree the photo of the peek in at flute practice is also my favorite but I like them all. What body of water can we see in the second to last photo?

The Thames. This is what used to be the old Naval hospital in Greenwich but is now owned by Greenwich University. It is a beautiful collection of buildings, often used in historical films.

I'm always saying to my husband while we're out for a evening drive "slow down I want to peek into those lit windows!"

I love glowing windows - they are so welcoming. I always want to know what's going on inside.
