Nap Wood

No words, just the beautiful woods-and my second attempt at macaroons-which look at home amongst all this green.

Oh my! This is my idea of heaven! What a magnificent place to go and stroll around! I always feel so rejuvinated after being surrounded by trees like this - I think it's essential to our well-being.

Those macaroons are very goodlooking - very tricky to make I bet! P.S.Yes! I love that cartoon too (Lassie get help!) - being a hopeless New Yorker cartoon addict I know exactly the one you mean!

Great photos of a ferny wood. Our weather is never humid and rainy enough to result in such a mossy place.

Plus I doubt I'd ever see a man wandering along though the forest with his hands clasped behind his back. People from the U.S. seem to stomp along, jog or trudge with a pack...no thoughtful meandering here.

I love the photos, especially that huge old tree, which is very impressive! (and the bat plaque)

And your macaroons look delicious. And they do look at home -- kind of like freshly harvested puffball fungus.

Love macaroons but never thought of making them. Must check out a few recipes.
