Shadow Shot Sunday

I have been remiss in looking for shadows this week so have two more from last week's pub visit to share. The first is the lovely radiator next to our seats. The second is along the river, just before we reached the pub. I liked the way the shadow crosses were on top of the iron ones.

For more shadows from around the world, visit HeyHarriet here!

Really interesting shadows! The radiator is really impressive and I like 'X marks the spot'.

Great shots, both of them :)

The mundane in metal is not often considered artistic. Yet the radiator is full of detail, cast iron being an artistic medium (who would have thought?)

Wrought iron and brick, these are two materials that look wonderful in a late afternoon of sun and shadow. Nice!

Both great shots! Old radiators are the best.

Well, I actually have old radiators, but they're the ugly kind.

Oh - I love that radiator - it would have looked great in the Victorian house we lived in before we went to Indonesia! I like the contrast btween to two lots of crosses. Hope you've had a good weekend - it has been windy here!

Gorgeous, gorgeous detail in that old radiator. In the pub I visited when I met you -- so long ago, it seems -- there was a similar one. Craftsmanship was the norm once upon a time.
Love that X photo! And your Saturday post... wow, you were super super industrious! LOL.
I am quite the slug on Sats now.

Take care.

Ooooh, you've been having fun Sarah! Gorgeous shadows, lovely things with your new pen toy, and a lot of chores done too - very inspiring all. I like the idea of being able to write instead of type but I like even more the pictures that you're doing... with the pen and with Photoshop! Your creative style seems so well-suited to this great medium. Loving seeing how it's unfolding... xox

Love the radiator shot. The shadows give it its definition. The "X's" are cool too. Great find!

Peace.

Lovely shadows, cool blog! I see you live in SE London. We stayed for three months Sydenham while we explored beautiful London.

Hello there Sarah! Just caught up on your last few posts. I have to say, it is well worth you being addicted to Photoshop, as your end results are really creative. I always love coming in to have a look. Not long to go now... hooray....I can't wait. Have a good week! Ros

P.S. Love the radiator 'shadow' photo!
