Yes-that is a bit of a problem-the feminist viewpoint of three Barbies being saved by Traction man-however, he is owned by a little boy, who's imaginings we are seeing-which explains things! Later in the book he is given an awful, embarrassing green knited suit by the boy's granny-poor Traction Man!
