Today would have been Renee's birthday. Her sister Jacqui, has written lovely words about Renee. Also KJ has made a lovely blog of memories and stories about Renee, by her many friends, called Renee's Book of Love.
I see that it is so true how we want to spare our children no matter what. We want them to be spared what we cannot spare ourselves. But of course that can’t work. I think by trying to spare them they would worry more. I believe it is much better to be honest and state how we feel and then we can move past it and so can they. They don’t have to wonder if we are hiding things from them."
I copied this from her blog, which I have been reading for some time now. How I wish I knew my mum was in pain long before she HAD to tell us.
A lovely and moving tribute to her life which is still going on! Goodness, to think of having such an effect... it's like knowing one really is always there. Wonderful and I am sure Renee would agree and approve! Thank you so much, Sarah, for sharing this with us.
