Shadow Shot Sunday

This is from a couple of weeks ago but I saved it for such a day as today when there was no sun. Cassie is sitting above Lily wondering whether to get her or not. On this occasion she didn't. It is so sad, she bullies Lily mercilessly at times, even though Lily was the one who kind of looked after her at first, defending her from the even bigger bully Tiger! Cassie's worst crime is to silently rear over and then jump on Lily and attack her when she is sleeping! She gets told off but it makes no difference. The only time Lily feels confident to get her back is when Cassie is inside a bag-a favourite pass time! Cassie loves to sit on top of a tall thin little book case my brother made me-it is at the front window in the bedroom. Recently Lily has decided that she wants to do this too-I do wonder if it is to annoy Cassie! I might be anthropomorphising (that made my brain ache spelling that-and it may not be right!) too much but I think not. To look at Cassie most of the time you would not think she was capable of such bad deeds!

CUTE- Love the kitty!
I also love your previous post and the prints which i don't quite understand the HOW though you explained it well enough. Anyway, Ms. Sarah Cakes- you did a fine job- exceptional!

I don't know what the cat is focusing on so intently, but my eye is drawn to the shadows in those clementines, oranges or whatever the citrus fruits are in the background. Delicious!

IF YOU SEE A SHADOW

If you see a shadow
And want to keep it near,
Point your trusty shooter
(Make sure the lens is clear);
Press with care the shutter,
Do not slam or sock it—
Then you’ll have a photo
To carry in your pocket!

The cats look elegant and playful, in either light or shadow. The felines play their roles well, one bullies the other or perhaps they conspire together to get your attention. Who can figure out what is on a cat's mind?? At least a fight probably won't ensue here...

Our mulberry tree is quite prolific, full of sweet fruit. There is a 3-4 week period in the Summer where every squirrel and bird in a one-mile radius of the tree feasts - every day! We eat the berries, too! Mulberries make for a fine looking shade tree in the warm weather...

Yes, my pixie bob cat bullies my Twylah because Pixie gets so jealous. But then, they get along well.

Thanks for stopping by.

Funny! We only have one, but my daughter has two, and they terrorize each other all the time!

Cute picture! I am happy to say that my two furrbabies don't terrorize each other. When Taz was alive Tigger would bite him sometimes and we never knew why. We thought maybe jealousy.
