Things I found today

I am off school ill at the moment and have mainly been in bed. I am so happy I have got wireless now as it is perfect for a sick day. I have found some lovely things whilst lying here and I wanted to share a couple. The first was from 'The Jealous Curator' which is a great blog-if you haven't seen it before I would recommend it. The artist Jonna Pohjahlainen is featured, and one of her works-a fantastic piece of environmental art-visit this site to see more. I keep thinking about scale at the moment due to dolls house obsession, and love things that play with it like this. I want these for school-or my garden-but school would have more of an effect I suppose!
On Decor8 today Amy Borrell of Vanilla Bug is showcased. I followed the link then located Amy's blog which is called Cake With Giants. Just the title alone was enough to make me curious. Her blog is lovely and I shall be adding it to my ever growing list. The first thing I saw when it appeared was a bundle of tiny envelopes, tied with string and others sealed with sealing wax. I was drawn in. There are wolves, robins, tiny rosettes to wear on days when you need a boost. I read down further and was struck by the words 'I wish everyone was this passionate' Well I clicked on that link and was taken to this video called 'Soda Pop'. It is so lovely! John Nese, owner of Galco Soda Pop Stop shares his ideas on soda but it is so much more than that! It is a real treat to watch. He said no to Pepsi! He is for independent individual businesses that have their own identity which has got to be a good thing.
