All My Journals Part 3

This is my ongoing book-the current one. It is a re-purposed diary-a gardening one with lovely illustrations that I didn't use, and that is too lovely to throw away. I prepared lots of the pages with gesso or collage over Christmas, and have been using it since January. This is a selection of pages.

Thanks for your well wishes yesterday. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi Sarah - I woke up at 2.45 am and just couldn't sleep. Worries of various kinds. So I fired up my laptop to do some more work on the CBT course and am sitting here now quickly looking at my favourite blogs. I love your re-purposing the old diary, I have several old ones lying around, never used, and I think I am going to do what you have done. It is a great idea to do the covering of the pages first, so that it is ready at a later stage to use. I have actually enlarged your photos to see what you have done on various pages. I see you have a beach-combing journal too! PS I hope all works out well with the loved one. It is horrible when one worries or feels anxious about someone else - one has no control - one can really just keep the fingers crossed!

What treasures you are creating. Even if you are the only one who ever enjoys those journals--they are time captured in a notebook for you to savor in time to come. Those around you and after you should appreciate the essence of Sarah saved here, as well. You are an inspiration.

Your journal is beautiful. That's such a great idea for a diary that you would otherwise have been discarded. I love the Cassie drawings and those gorgeous mermaids. Thinking of you! Ros
