Pink Sky

The sky I saw when setting up this morning at 7. I have been getting to work before seven each day this week to do three displays which need to be finished by Friday when they are being checked by the upper echelons. The new command for displays is that things be double mounted. Double mounting equals double the time to do it so I am struggling! I think I will just about get them done. I will show you if I do!

Skies like that make getting out and about so worth it. One good thing about winter is the late sunrise doesn't require quite as much ambition. But if you were at work by pink sky time you must have gotten up in the very dark. Best wishes on completing all those displays for the upper echelons. And thanks for the pink skies.

These upper ehelons really are divorced from reality!! Beautiful skies to soothe your soul and help you deal with their unreasonable demands!

Beautiful! A small treat for you who has to get up and work extra hard this week! Hope you get it all done and it's a winner!

Wow! What a fabulous sky! Worth getting early for! Hope you get your dispalys done. We've been advised to STOP double mounting, as it is a waste of paper;-). Have a good weekend. Ros

Yes exactly! On the one hand we have a sustainability coordinator telling us to stop wasting paper and on the other we have the deputy head urging us to do so. I know who I think is right!

Beautiful pictures, Sarah! I was raised at the beach and we always had a saying that I still say every time I see a sky like that.

"Red sky in the morning sailor's warning. Red sky at night sailor's delight." Not sure if there's much truth to it. It was just something I remember always hearing.
