Then later amazing clouds went scudding past. I know scudding is probably a bit of an overused word in relation to clouds but I really like it, and they were doing just that.
Our tree has now nearly lost all of its leaves. When they decide to go, they decide to go fast.
This is one project I have managed to finish this week. Another Bird Face to send off in the swap I was introduced to by my friend Mary of Working Projects.
She has a lovely blog filled with her creative projects which always amaze me. Thanks for inviting me Mary!
The lovely Christmassy fabric on one side of the bird is from Jess of Sweet Eventide, from a swap we took part in arranged by Lisa of Parallel Botany. Swaps are such fun! Hope you are having a good week.

The bird is really lovely, Sarah. Hope you're feeling better now, especially after giving your 'things' a touch of glitter...which for some reason reminds me of the rainbow crystals we used to buy at the sweet shop when we were small. Yummy.
Hey Sarah, I'm sorry to hear that you have been feeling poorly. I hope you are past the worst of it.
It's great to see your swap fabric put to such good use - the holiday bird face is wonderful, I'm sure your recipient will love it!!
take care! get well!
Your windows did look really pretty and scudding is a great word! In fact, I will endeavour to use it myself sometime soon.
Pretty fabric on the bird.
Sorry to hear you've not been feeling well this week. Glad the weather has at least helped to make you feel better!
The word 'scudding' is so rarely used over here so I appreciated it! It's a fun word :)
The bird is fantastic Sarah and the material is gorgeous.

Really truly wonderful bird- how do you keep the wire legs from being wobbley?
Weather is keeping us indoors today, must face the projects that have been left wanting all summer...bleah.
Hope you're feeling better! Your bird is fabulous. I love popping over here to share your amazing creativity. Ros
Hi Sarah - hope your feeling better. I like the word scudding! I have a Christmas decoration made with fabric birds - I don't have a pattern, but when we get the decorations down from the loft next momth, I'll send you a photo. Love Anne

Hope you're feeling better now, ready for that bonfire tonight!
Lovely rainy pictures.
Very clever the way the face looks like the bird's wing.
Things. My life seems filled with lots of things I need to finish, as well. I wish it were creating as much beautiful art. Like you.
