Shadow Shot Sunday

The strangely named Cutty Sark Gardens-no plants at all. I suppose Cutty Sark Park would have sounded odd.
The covering on the Cutty Sark works mysteriously going on below.
Shadows in the door way of the Greenwich foot tunnel entrance building.
What has happened to the large wooden hoarding so far. A coat of white paint with a navy blue border. Still no graffiti.
Find other shadows from around the world here at Hey Harriet.

Nifty shadows you've found to share ... my favorite is the last today. Love your header photo too ;-)

At Greenwich they watch
the heavenly lights flicker,
while shadows watch them.

My Shadow Shot

I like the shadows on the white fence best - wouldn't it be nice if someone painted some trees, before the graffitti 'artists' spoil it!

Loving all the shots. They have their own characteristic, that want to tell us a story.

Cheers for a Sunday evening.

The covering over the Cutty Sark looks like something from the Field of the Cloth of Gold - apart from the colour of course.
Lovely shadow shots, Sarah and I enjoyed your Saturday Sunshine post. I hope I'll have as much spirit and energy as your little old lady.

Hello Sarah,

thanks for passing by at pinkepinke. All is well here, just sometimes quite busy with a family of five and being a teacher...

Do you live in Greenwich or nearby ?
21 years ago my husband and I came to London for 5 days as a "weddingtrip" and we also visited Greenwich. Wienne visited the museum with all the scalemodels , we visited both the cutty sark and I also wandered through Greenwich itself.

I do remember a childrensbookstore in a boat in Greenwich. The inside was painted in red and yellow and the year after that I painted my class in these colors and they have been like that for years. My sons first bedroom has also been painted in these colors. Is the bookstore still there ?

I also remember the long, long greenwich foot tunnel...

I like the white tents you show on the photo. You say the "covering of the cutty sark " ? Is the boat under these tents ?

I read your article above on the plastic fusing : I must hop over to Vanessa's blog if I read this :)

I see you are busy with making dolls ! Remember we swapped dolls ?
Drawing has been quiet the past moments, but I signed in at Suzi blu's "the godess and the poet" workshop to get my drawing again.

greetings from Belgium
