Rain, clouds and finishing projects

I have been trying to finish lots of... but have been feeling under the weather this week. Though strangely, the weather cheered me up yesterday by creating something beautiful on my kitchen windows.

Then later amazing clouds went scudding past. I know scudding is probably a bit of an overused word in relation to clouds but I really like it, and they were doing just that.
Our tree has now nearly lost all of its leaves. When they decide to go, they decide to go fast.

This is one project I have managed to finish this week. Another Bird Face to send off in the swap I was introduced to by my friend Mary of Working Projects.
She has a lovely blog filled with her creative projects which always amaze me. Thanks for inviting me Mary!
The lovely Christmassy fabric on one side of the bird is from Jess of Sweet Eventide, from a swap we took part in arranged by Lisa of Parallel Botany. Swaps are such fun! Hope you are having a good week.

The bird is really lovely, Sarah. Hope you're feeling better now, especially after giving your 'things' a touch of glitter...which for some reason reminds me of the rainbow crystals we used to buy at the sweet shop when we were small. Yummy.

Your windows did look really pretty and scudding is a great word! In fact, I will endeavour to use it myself sometime soon.

Pretty fabric on the bird.

Sorry to hear you've not been feeling well this week. Glad the weather has at least helped to make you feel better!

The word 'scudding' is so rarely used over here so I appreciated it! It's a fun word :)

Hope you're feeling better now, ready for that bonfire tonight!
Lovely rainy pictures.
Very clever the way the face looks like the bird's wing.

Things. My life seems filled with lots of things I need to finish, as well. I wish it were creating as much beautiful art. Like you.
