Lovely things-today and soon!

Here is the tree. Poor incinerated thing-and look at the wall. It went up in a spectacular way!The rest of the photos are from today-apart from the the last one. Ladybird baby we found on the cherry tree today. I saw a post on a blog that I can't recall the other day and it was these little creatures. It was in Norwegian and the title was something like Berserkers but spelled the Norwegian way. Somehow that fits them well in their role as fighter of the ever present aphids! And with all their little agressive looking spikes too. Here is a grown up one-with strange spots. This is the see-saw that Ebube made. I was impressed! Tilly found some rose petals and wanted me to take a picture.I noticed my last cherry was heart shaped. Beautiful and strangely curly Nigella.Last of all-Vanessa at A Fanciful Twist is having a tea party. Look here to find out more!

That cherry looks good enough to eat!

(I read about Forest School. It's like our "Outdoors School" over here. We used to go for day-trips to a school in a rural setting and practice orienteering and stuff like that. It was lots of fun.)

Sarah, if you get the chance, have a read of my new Blasts post.

Bye for now!

I love the Nigella - I always think they look like little ballet dancers. I think it's great that you use your little bowl on your desk - treasures shouldn't be shut away in cupboards!

Hello Sarah! Ooh, these little lady-bird-baby's. I didn't know it were the baby's, i had never seen them before! I guess you visited my blog in the netherlands and was called 'bezoekers' wich means visitors; the ones in my garden!

Have a good day!

Hi Sarah
One day I sat in Joan's garden telling her brother in law about the yellow and black spotted ladybirds we had in our garden in Camberwell. 'Don't believe you', he said.
So I went in for a cup of tea with Joan in the kitchen. Next thing I knew, he rushed in. 'I've seen one, I've seen one!'.
Have you ever seen one that colour?
Looking forward to Saturday!
p.s. I love the see-saw, all the more because it can not possibly work!

Fun stuff going on here. I do love those bugs! And the cherry IS heart-shaped. I hope you made a wish when you gobbled it up.

I did like that bit about the tea party, too. Thank you very much for sharing that!

When we were children my mum used to write stories and illustrate them, about us, and my character was a ladybird so I've always had a soft spot for them. Their babies aren't very pretty but they're so good to have in the garden...

Lovely pics and happy Friday to you! :)
