Shadow Shot Sunday

Shadowy needle felting shot from our holiday. It seems so long ago now!

Happy Sunday!

Interesting shot, Sarah, it looks rather surreal, I find myself wondering what the story is.

Nice photo.

Two of the shadows stand out wonderfully - the larger shadow of the elephant (at least what I see :), and the fine and needle-like and thin shadow of the pin. From one extreme to the other, shadowy art awaits!

Lovely shot! What a cute little felted elephant too. Hope school doesn't come as too much of a shock this week. I can't think of anything I want to do less right at this moment, but hey! Once I'm back in and sorted, then I guess it's not too bad;-) Ros

Such a tiny elephant! Still, the shadows are bold and well-defined.

I LOVE MY SHADOW

I love my shadow,
My shadow loves me;
We chat together
And don’t disagree!

My shadow and I
Prefer not to shout
As we go walking
And rambling about.

My shadow’s so wise,
I ask what she thinks;
She’s happy to share,
And then nods and winks.

My shadow and I
Are best buds, you see;
That’s why we try hard
To always agree!

Interesting contrast of light and dark and large and small. Also the big is the needle and the small is the elephant. Nice work and, I'll bet, a reminder of some fun times.
