Rainbows for a Thursday

Forest school started today. I seem to write about it a lot on here so it must be one of my favourite things. I have started early this term as the building work on the school is starting in November and I don't think I will be able to do it then. So the children are still very new. It went well though. Quite a few parents are still with them which was lovely and it was a very relaxed session-especially for a first time! D. kept pointing to the clouds-plane trails mainly-and saying 'Look, a rainbow!' These rainbows are from Skye. We saw one nearly every day. The advantage of quickly changing weather.

My goodness, the top one looks like a fairy thing, or some fanciful version of the Northern Lights . Lovely photos.

The first shot is so beautiful! unlike any rainbow I have ever seen- filling the entire sky with colour- so cool. When you have time - I think that you would find the docu on my bloggishness fascinating- you- girl of much colour!
I got a styro head form at the charity shop and felted it-It is odd but kind of cool in a frightening way- will probably post it sometime when I am in a scary mood. Thanks for the rainbows!

Rainbows are a wonder to me. I've seen them made by rain, fog, around the sun, and once a circle in the air below me as I drove over an overpass through an icy cloud during sunrise. It seems like rainbows in humid places are wider and more near to the ground..?? Guess I should take my own advice and just love them.

Youngsters are another wonder. I love working with 4-6 year-olds. They remind me to be amazed.

There is something about a rainbow that just excites us all, no matter what age we are.

Love the pics.
