Thinking

I did some drawing today, using pen and ink which I love. This drawing has had colour and texture added in photoshop, and I like how she has come out. She looks very thoughtful. I am thinking I need a change, but cannot work out how this could come about. I just know I have had enough of the ever increasing demands on me at work, and cannot see how to change this. Oh well, drawing is soothing anyway.

You could leave your teaching life and take your singing on the road! There's a thought...

Fun art. The lady looks very pensive. As for those demands at work...maybe you could tell them to get someone else. If they don't understand...draw them a picture.

The drawing is fabulous! I wish I could give you some advice about work - the trouble is that hardworking conscientious teachers like you do far more than the basic job description .... then get even more work heaped on them!!

She does indeed look thoughtful.
I know what you mean about needing a change but not knowing how to bring it about. You're so very talented, I hope that you can work something out.

This is really so very lovely, Sarah! The Photoshop'ed colorations are so soft & delicate. I am sorry to hear that you are having some stress due to work. Perhaps there is a creative solution to the problem... Maybe keep drawing to find out?! :o) ((HUGS))

Thanks! I think the solution is just to grow two heads, or work faster, or let everything slide and have a nervous breakdown!

She's beautiful Sarah! I'm so sorry you're struggling with these awful dilemmas and pressures. It could well be a midlife thing... much as I hate to admit it. Maybe we should run away together? You can bring Andy and that cats, of course, but I fancy a year on a beach, with nothing more urgent to do than wander up and down collecting shells... waddya fink?

You've needed a change for a while. LEAVE that school for fresh pastures. You could be a nursery manager now.
