The Fox Goes to School

I wonder if it is OK for the highlights of my first day back to have been seeing this fox, and the Marks and Spencer's sandwiches for lunch. Whether it is OK or not, it is true. The rest of it was fairly average-though it was good to see people again. The full timers start tomorrow, but it will be quiet for a few days as the rest of the children are staggered over the next two weeks.

Mr Fox will no doubt be avoiding the school grounds in the day from now on, with all those noisy kids back again!

I hope your day had at least one highlight!

How cool to see a fox. Is it a good thing, are they protected?

Your days are going to get busy again.

Wow! You're back at school already? It just seems like yesterday that you finished!

What kind of sandwiches were they? I like cheese and pickle, but they don't do them over here.

That fox would have been my highlight too..... had I seen one today! My day was very mediocre too. Highlights - seeing friends and getting necessary jobs done, so I don't have to keep thinking about them. First Aid training tomorrow :( Ros

And you had a camera ready to save the moment. So is a Mark and Spencer's sandwich a kind of sandwich like bacon-lettuce-tomato or a brand of sandwich like Quiznos or Subway? Sounds good if it was a memorable moment of your day.

I think your highlights are perfectly fine. After all, you soon won't have time to look out of the window ;-)
I hope the newcomers settle in happily.

I love M&S sandwiches - so it's probably a good thing for both my waistline and my purse that we no longer live that close to an M&S (in the 90s we lived within walking distance of one!) The highlight of yesterday was going out for lunch with Malcolm, but then that was followed by having my tooth out .....

The fox is cute! We have a red one in our neighborhood. He's so scared of us and runs. We have been lucky to change a few glimpses.
