The Felt Tree

I have opened a new etsy shop called The Felt Tree. If I wasn't so tired I would be really excited! As it is I am mildly excited. I have been planning it for a while, and making things over the last few weeks. The shop has a small stock as yet, but I am still enjoying the felting so I thought it made sense! Horse

Modelled on a wooden horse I have.

I loved making the base as it was a challenge to make a fairly regular shape.

Centaur

There was a poster of Greek mythological beings lying around, and ADO have also got a monthly challenge of Greek mythology-so the centaur was born!

Badger

Again-inspired by a poster lying around-this time of British woodland species.

These posters are great-they are often given away with the Sunday papers.

Adam and Eve Story Set

I honestly don't know what came over me!

These make me smile, and could indeed be used to tell the famous story.

Absolutely fabulous!! I love the badger (Stuart has a thing about badgers - I just found a really cheesy plate with badgers on it in a charity shop - I'll give it to him next week as a silly birthday present!) Your felting is wonderful - I'm sure your new venture will do well!!

Love your felty creatures! I kind of gave up after my failed attempt at round needle-felted beads. I then decided to do something slightly more at my level - a hot water bottle fleece cover - with a felted heart on it. I may blog about it one day - if only to laugh at my sad attempt...
PS Hmmm, that card should have arrived by now! Posted your other little package today - but this time at a proper post office.
