Me too, me too!!!! Although I hope it's not the "wrong kind" that brought the railways to a standstill last year. I need to travel but a dusting of white would make it so much more pretty and fun!

maybe if it snows hard enough they'll shut the nursery and you'll get extra holidays ..... but then you would miss all the fun with the children!!!

It's snowing! 11.30-I am on my lunch break. We had just finished singing to parents in the nursery(our Christmas production!) when it started!

Oh, how I wish it would snow here! Not the 'wrong kind' as Kenda says; we're planning to go away.

Ooo, lucky! Is there a lot of it? Is it sticking?

According to the latest forecasts, we *might* get some snow on the 23rd and 24th in NY. **crosses fingers**

Oooooh! Snow!! I would like to experience snow one day, but I have to say that I can't complain - we are having a perfect summer's day today! Bliss! Sun shining, very light breeze but NO wind (thank God). We have just finished braai-ing (barbecueing) - a treat, as we do it very seldom, perhaps three times a year! Today is a holiday here by the way - Reconciliation Day - though I am not sure how much reconciliation is taking place. Enjoy your snow, Sarah! PS I have the same thing with fairy lights - most of mine are always out - I adore fairy lights! But I have an extra-long set that I keep specially for Xmas - not that I have a tree to match. Perhaps I'll just string them along the window sill. Oops, perhaps not - this is now Snous's favourite seat!
