I was thinking of the empty laundry basket myself and then forgot it. Love the first photo and the fire in the fireplace of course. Glad to meet you here and read your list. Time to cuddle up with a new book. I enjoyed The Secret Garden soooooo much. Goodnight.

Lovely photos , as always! I agree..... I got right down to the 'empty laundry basket and cosy fire' and smiled! Left me feeling all warm and snuggly, as have just come in from picking up Mr Snoopydog from a late night working in his office and its'a chill chill chilly! Ros

You have an empty laundry basket?? I'm so impressed - that is so sad (though I think newspeak says sad is good . . . okay, already out of date . . .). . . but I loved your series of photographs.

ah, the warmth from the fire must surely be the bee's knees.

Your Christmas decoration ideas remind me of my drive the other day. I drove through the shopping malls here in Singapore and it was nice seeing all the Christmas decorations and lightings.

The dogs jumping into bed to "kiss" me good morning, my bench all cleaned up and the tools in order, notes from my friends, finding a clean pair of socks, looking out the window and seeing a tiny bird looking back at me. Your coming to visit.

Sarah, this is a great list... your tiny things are really big things, you know. So much we take for granted, little things. If and when they are gone we realize how very important they are.
That people watching photo is the best! I do that too, wondering if those are friends to never be met, philosophers never to be known, musicians and artists forever denied to me.

Take good care.
Your Pal.

What a great list Sarah! Just reading it made me happy. I think the tiger paws and cosy fire are my two favourites... soft and warm and comforting.

I'm not sure I can remember what an empty laundry basket looks and feels like! ;)
