Taken in Ruskin Park today. This photo is so awful that I like it. Blurry action shot of the fastest animal in the park. We (Joan and I) also saw pigeons (of course), parakeets, crows, squirrels, dogs and a dove-who was friends with the pigeons.
The Richard Long exhibition was excellent so if you get the chance go-it is only on until the 6th September.

Parakeets in the park? That I'd love to see.
(Rats, not so much.)
oh no - anything but rats!!!!
I'm really glad the photo is blurry so that I can't see that rat properly. I am very, very scared of rats. I think I'm more scared of rats than I am of spiders ...
So cute! I've never been bothered by mice or rats.
Love your picture! I have a digital and you have to stand like a statue to get a decent shot of anything. Drives me mad.
Love the blog banner, by the way.
Wow! Parakeets have ended up in the UK (or were they originally pets, do you think)?
I love the blurry rat. We have had the odd rat hang about our house under the bird feeders. In fact, we've trapped a couple and relocated them. I worte a poem about one. His name was "Nathan".
