This little frog is in our back yard (our garden is made up of a tiny yard, then up some steep steps to a decking area, then up three more steps to the grassy gardeny part-the wild part at the moment!) There is a pond at the back and during the rain the little frogs and slightly bigger ones like this, make it down to the yard. Then I spend ages trying to catch them and take them back to the pond.
This is a felty green man, made for Joan, my Dad's wife after she saw my felty face. I have control over needle felting which I like. I don't have control over computer software, or people supposed to be delivering that software, or the council and their recycling sacks, which I don't like. So today I choose felty faces and painting.

I have to chime in, too. I love your Green Man. I have a special place in my heart for The Green Man in stories and myth.
Like the picture of the bunny on your banner.
we had some frogs in the backyard recently and Hero was ecstatic - he loved chasing the little things around.... hopping along after the frogs!
is that completely felt? who took the shadows at the beach photograph? i love the portraits, distorted and messed.
Joan is very lucky. The felty face is gorgeous.

I just came over from Kat's blog because I saw your comment about being afraid of speaking in front of people. I have the same fear. I have to run a meeting this Monday night and feel as if I may pass out just thinkng about it.
I like the frog. I used to find lots in our pool but haven't seen any this year.
Yes, green is good, whether it's a frog or a felty face. Very cool creation!
