Sometimes...

...it is three days into a new month before I notice. Being in the garden reminds me of the seasons passing with the beauty of dried seed heads.
...I do things in photoshop without knowing how I did them, but like the result anyway.
...beautiful seedheads look like...
...tiny monsters-on closer inspection.
...things out there remind me of fairy stories. Today I was the prince, hacking through the forest of evil ivy, to rescue the fair maiden the fence.
...tiny bugs have great names-this little, nearly camouflaged shield bug was one of many creatures I saw today-including a huge dragonfly. It flew over the garden quite high up, then away over the roof of the house.

...preparation is just as much fun as doing the thing prepared for. Making these rolags on my new wool carders is one of my favourite things at the moment.

...I can get through a whole blog post without an exclamation mark!-almost-just can't do it.

Summer is going by so quickly- STOP- I want it to just hold still for a while. Though I am looking forward to getting back into my stash of wool...Your carded wool looks like cuddly worms. YAY!

August is an odd month is some ways, and here we can feel that summer is starting to wane a bit. Very exciting with the wool, Sarah... terrific rolags! :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))

Beginnings of months creep up on you, don't they? It's good to spend time outside, whatever the weather - though we've just had a thunderstorm and I'm not keen on those. Exclamation marks - very difficult to resist.

I Gorgeous nest, did you see which birds called it home?

Think I prefer your name for that lovely yellow moth!*
