Photo Drawings

These are drawings done over photos, with the photo then removed. You need to create a new layer to draw on-otherwise you won't be able to remove the photo-as I discovered last night after forgetting to do so, drawing for 20 minutes, then realising! Brighton Pavillion.

This is in the side street, near where we parked
in Brighton the other day-
an old Woolworth's with a rusty sign.
I made another layer to colour the drawing.

Cassie asleep.

Oh I love these, Sarah. Beautifully done and loads of fun, I'm sure. I've not really had much chance to creatively use my new graphics tablet but so far, I've been very impressed. Considering its an "entry" level one, it's very good. Also, thank you for your support and visiting my blog still ;)

A graphics tablet is high on my wish list. Your fine work has moved it up a few notches. Maybe even above a macro lens and thin thighs. Or not. Love what you've done with Brighton.

Oh that's so cool! What a great effect. It would be cool to do a series of drawings (tracings?) based on vacation photos.

I am totally in awe of this Sarah - you are so talented!! Although I did have a moment to feel superior yesterday, when having patiently explained (yet again) to a friend how to use the disc with the driver for her printer which I had downloaded for her, she said .... so, do I turn the computer on!!

This looks an interesting activity. Brighton Pavilion never looked so good and Cassie is adorable. Maybe I could do it - maybe . . .

VERY exciting to see, Sarah! I'd love to have a go at this technique. I like when a bit of color is added, like washes, to the line drawings. These are wonderful! :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
