More Bits and Pieces

Cup of coffee.. and painting. But not together. I think I am quite safe in my use of materials but I could be better. Have a look at Kelly Kilmer's comprehensive list of what not to do when painting and ways to keep safe.
This horse and person are going to be something circussy or fairgroundy. I am working on them now. Well I was until I stopped to write this! Another amazing rose from another child in my class. Lucky me! This one smells gorgeous too.
Robbie the scary doll. This belongs to Tilly in my class and he was left overnight in our kitchen. We were very relieved when we came in the next morning to find he had not actually moved on his own in the night. He is a very naughty boy, as he was hitting and kicking people according to Tilly and Jessica, and so spent a lot of time on the time out chair! Poor Robbie!
Finally the box of girls. I actually forgot to do the draw yesterday and am waiting till Andy comes home tonight so he can pick a name. They are all written and waiting in a bowl. When I have done it I will tell you who won!

Robbie is scary looking to me. Like he's going to start talking to you and try to make you do bad things.
I'm looking forward to what you are going to do to the horse and person.
The little bear you liked on my blog I got from http://www.glitter-graphics.com/
I get a lot of my images from there. They have great stuff.

Great mug! (Is that your table-top in the background, or a table-cloth?) Either way, I love it.

OMG, that Robbie is scary! Actually it is the hairstyle that is making him look a bit psycho - like he could take some ominous walks at night (I'm having the shivers now) - I have MUCH too much of an overactive imagination. Well, that says something about the power of a haircut, if you ask me. Oh, I am holding thumbs for that draw! They are SO beautiful!

Oh my, I too find Robbie all too scary!!! But I guess as long as Tilly and Jessica don't think so, it's okay. I can't wait to see how the horse and person turn out. I love your dolls! I haven't made a doll - I think I might try it. You've inspired me. I have some leave due later in the summer and I think it'd be a nice little project. Actually, I just remembered, I did knit a humpty-dumpty when I was in primary school... but I'm not sure he counts anymore.

Oh and I have been known to eat, drink and paint at the same time (quite often in fact!). Also, have licked my watercolour brushes (not often at ALL but I have). Uh-oh.

Looking forward to seeing the new dolls. Fairground or circus, both sound great. You are so productive! Lovely rose too.

I'm glad I saw Robbie this morning- otherwise I might have had nightmares - I think he's even scarier than the alien in Torchwood!
ps - I love the 'almost' words for verification - today's is tedlygot
maybe we have a competition to write a definition of the words!

I love circussy and fairgroundy! Can't wait to see the finished dolls. Thanks for the link to the paint info, that's really useful stuff to remember.
