The Bears Picnic Report

Fun for the children, and, mostly, for me, despite some people who do not seem to be able to cope with being relaxed, spontaneous and having fun-even if things are not organised (by me, on my own, despite everyone else being fully aware of when it was happening) with military precision. At least I made an effort to get things going. Sometimes I wonder why I bother! But, negativity aside, it was good, the weather held and the bears had fun-apart from being a little scared when they saw Goldilocks. Bears get ready to party for the morning picnic.
Three bears house this way-Freddie in the afternoon used this sign-I was so pleased!

This is the 'house' with the bears in it. Bit rudimentary but I think that is how bears live probably.

Goldilocks. I should have written 'WANTED' on the picture really. Someone said that my Goldilocks looks like Katie Price's daughter. I have never seen her daughter so was interested to see that she actually does look a bit like her.

Pictures here and here.

A bear in a cave for Bear hunt which we did before the picnic.

Ahh, we have lots of those people as well. And one in particular who takes all the credit for everything whether or not he's actually had anything to do with the project.
Hope your basket bears had a grand day out!

Well done!! My teddy bears are packed away in the loft (bought in the last few years, I don't have one from childhood) ...... maybe I should get them out for a picnic!!

Looks like a grand time was had! The kids always love this kind of spontaneity and fun. Our Early Years team have one planned for the last week of term. Such a shame that some people (always the adults!) have to try to spoil the fun with their negativity. Every school has 'one' or 'two' or 'three'.... ha,ha! Have a good week. Not long to go now. Ros

If you want to learn about spontaneity (had to look up the spelling for that polysyllabic word) just spend time with the children. Wish I could have been there to join in the fun!

I hope the teacher strikes in London I've heard about on the news at least let underpaid and unappreciated educators let their voices be heard.
