Viewpoints

High... Shooter's Hill, looking towards the City. On the left is the ever growing Shard building. On the right is the Gherkin and the Natwest Tower. Low...

Laying in the grass at Forest School this morning. So relaxing. We were looking for grasshoppers of which there were loads.

I love the contrasts in the photos--from heavy clouds to blue skies... :o) Happy Weekend, Sarah ((HUGS))

Big, big city there, Sarah. We have to drive for hours to see something even close to that. I like the name of the Gherkin tower. It does look like a big pickle. So much for restoring/preserving history.

I thought the Natwest Tower might be named so as a Brit version (no hard R) of Northwest. But National Westminster Tower IS a mouthful.

Now the low-angle-grasshopper search is much more familiar. Smiles.

I love the grass shot - there's so much to see and hear at ground level. I'm glad you found lots of grasshoppers:-)

Great contrast in these shots! I love the "low" one!

I love these shots, and like Dimple said the contrasts are great. The low shot is my favourite, I would love to be lying in that grass.

Love looking out at the city! and then boom there we are in nature, in the grass, with you looking for bugs. Love it. Your kids are so lucky! Next lifetime I am going to come back to be one of your students!
