On a Journey

We are on our way to Bath today. The Pearlies are coming too! Never been to Bath and have always wanted to so quite excited. It is Andy's birthday tomorrow and we thought we would go away for a change. Hope you have a good weekend, whatever you are up to.

Oh what a wonderful idea! One of my most favorite places in Britain is Bath, second only the The Chelsea Flower Show. You must go to Sally Lunn's Refreshment House, I loved the place, an old, old house wonderful food and there is a place which name unfortunately cannot remember just now, in the Guildhall Market where I bought the most exquisite teas ever. I hope is still there, you must go there since you love tea as much as I do.

Happy Birthday to Andy, if you two were near I would bake him a big, chosen by him the kind of, birthday cake. Lacking that, we both send best wishes for a very happy and healthy birthday. And hugs to you, my dear. And have plenty of fun, you both earned it.

The Pearlys do have a great sponsor! "Thank you"- they say-
I have had a pair of Pearlys since Erik was little but they never get taken anywhere. They live in the china hutch- I should take them out one day to show you.
Happy birthday ! I will drink something cheerful in his honor!

Beautiful Bath... It is such a gorgeous city. We were there, years ago now, but how I remember that day--the sun shining and the city alight as if gold, that beautiful stone of the building almost shimmer in the distance as we went by train.. ah, the memories! Hope you had a LOVELY time and happy wishes to your Andy. So sweet you took the Pearlies along. ;o) ((HUGS))
