Flowers and Art

Log piles artistically arranged, little homes for creatures, sunny terraced gardens and an artist's studio to finish. The artist is Pat Rae. I loved her work and her home.

I love the wildlife hidey holes by the pond. I've been looking for ideas for how to make something like this and think I may nick the idea!!
Your Dad's bonsai trees are amazing. We had a go years ago, but they didn't thrive.

Ooooh - I love to see peoples' studios - thank you for the photos! I wonder if I could persuade Malcolm to do a little articstic log pile in the garden? (probably not!!)

ps, your blog doesn't like my 'open ID' again!!

I just love seeing artists' workspaces. Their clutter is always a cut above, isn't it just?

I love love love seeing other artist's spaces. It says so much about them.
What beautiful figure studies on the wall. And that cat! I love it.

The yard pics are wonderful too. A lovely area!

It's amazing the wildlife that finds a home or sun bathing spot amongst a few bricks, stones, pipe and wood. Just this week I noticed my wood pile had been used as a scratching, shedding of skin spot for a very large snake which I'm hoping has moved off, as it's log fire time here*!*

Isn't it such a treat to see inside an artist's home and studio? It's like walking through their minds.
