Shadow Shot Sunday

My tea this morning with one of my favourite teaspoons from Sarah in Holland.
The shadow of the spoon.
The beautiful fabric from Jessica of Sweet Eventide-from a fabric swap arranged by Lisa of Parallel Botany. I have a few ideas of what to make-once the sketchbook project is finished and a few other things I am doing are done! It is lovely fabric-thanks Jess!
A flying saucer gourd. I liked its shadow. The shadow could be the aliens getting out of their gourd.
Visit Hey Harriet for more shadow shots!

I love the shadow photos, as I too sit here drinking my tea! And those sunflowers make me feel all wistful...sigh!

I have a nasty case of gourd envy...I have a small display in my porch. Now they seem inadequate.

Oh that spoon...don't you love when you can have something that makes you feel good inside and out? stirring tea with a teaspoon like that can make you smile even when you are feeling frumpy, not that you ever are I am sure, oh but I know it would make me smile when I am frumpy these days, more often it appears than I could even imagine I could be.

But coming here makes me smile and so I thank you for the tea and the smile.

Where there are shadows..somewhere there is light. great shadow shots. Taking time to stir tea slowly with a spoon...ahhh relaxing.

I love the teaspoon. I also like the new Humpty rhyme. I must send it to my grandson.

Thanks Sarah, I'll add those new rhymes in my letter. I bet you have a lot more up your sleeve.
I like the way you keep changing your header, very refreshing.

I thought there was only one pronunciation as well, like the beginning of Gordon.
Reminds me of a parents' evening at the school where my sister teaches. She was talking to a couple who referred to a child called 'Gooey' all the time. My sister said they must have the wrong teacher as she had never taught anyone called that.
Definitely the right class, they said and pointed to his name on the list...Guy.

Fun shots! I can understand why that is one of your favourite teaspoons. How adorable it is!!! A flying saucer gourd? Well that's a first! I hope the aliens were at least the friendly type :)
