The Only Picture

There was freezing fog this morning and a strange ice layer on everything-not like normal frost, very thin and hard to remove. The trees looked beautiful but I was late and couldn't stop. I parked next to a car with this frozen spider's web attached. Not pretty at all, more like something from 'Alien'!

The web is awesome! Couldn't have planned that one- I LOVE it! Halloween stuff is very nearly free these days in the basements of shops-
I brought home a sparkly orange spider for the nativity..Your web would make a great manger for it. Love the frozen morning light as well- other worldly - like Game of Thrones.

wow!! I have seen several pictures like this in the last few days (did aliens visit the UK?), and I had never seen such frost patterns before. how bizarre and intriguing (rather like the comment above) and also beautiful in its own weird way!
