Shadow Shot Sunday

Shots from our lovely weekend away in Brighton.Chicken wire against a wall. I liked the way you don't notice the wire at first-the shadow is more substantial.

Shadow from the UFO like toy Louis had. Like a giant frisby. It was fun while it lasted but unfortunately got tangled in a tree a little later on.

Me, Claire and Mae on Brighton seafront. This is about 7pm and the sun was very low but still amazingly hot.

A rose in the garden of our cottage.

Shadowy horse from the field next to the garden. He was very friendly!

I really like the first one. The shadow is so prominent that it almost looks drawn on.

That shot of the chicken wire is fantastic!

I also like the horse with the dappled shadows, although I'm a little frightened of horses in general...

Gorgeous! I agree with you re: the chickenwire shot. Very subtle.

The shot of that horse -- fake dappling, thanks to the shadows is also grand.
The horse is in general a fun boy or girl. You know, they are ofttimes friendly and a little scary because they are so curious, they will come right up and horn in on you ... "hey, how are ya? WHO are ya? What'cha doin'? Got an apple for me? Show me my picture, please, Ma'am."

And the photo of you, Claire and Mae is just delightful. You really should write a story about the Long Women of Britain ... LOL.
Take care!

Beautiful sunshiny day shots! I could almost feel the heat. LOVE the photo's especially that of the horse. I want to kiss him on the nose, hop on and take off through the blue sky...dreamy!

Such beautiful shadowy shots! My favourite is the wire one, I actually though there were two sets of wire, one being black. Oh, it looks like you are already into summer there - after a long, cold winter, sun and summer - yayyy for you!
