Shadow Shot Sunday and Door 5

make a gif

Today's advent picture is of a box of old Christmas decorations from my brother's house. He thought I would like them, so did not throw them away.

Today's shadow shots are from the kitchen table and are of bits and pieces involved in current crafty projects. The sun came out properly today, for the first time for about a week, and the doily happened to be there, ready to make a patterny shadow.

Super shadow shots! We've had some blue sky and sunshine today - but still lots of snow on the ground!!

I SO love your drawings from the previous post! The photo of the oranges and pattern is one of my most favorite of all time! So glad your brother did not toss the old decorations- that was thoughtful and I am sure you, Christmas elf that you are, will find a great spot for them!

Gorgeous shadows! The sun has been really bright today and it was beautiful in the forest. Doesn't the sun make you feel good?

Great shadows...no sun here I'm afraid, we have freezing fog!
Love that box of decorations, I can't resist things like that. I have boxes and boxes in the cellar...

I am finally catching up with my friends. And I have clementines in a kitchen basket! so guess what I will try to make this afternoon? It sounds right up my alley, and delicious. Anything orange, tangerine, clementines, I cook with and eat. I will let you know how it turns out.

I am so sorry about the perfume. Ever since something less dramatic but just as damaging happened to me I keep mine in the bathroom. And unfortunately the only way to really get the surface back is to take all the varnish off and reapply it. A summer project. For now a nice set of doilies or some fancy scarf folded would cover the blemish and let you forget about it. Thank you for visiting and sharing. You are a dear.

The door animation is cool, and shadowy! The artist's mediums are neat under the shadows, and the wicker (lattice?) of the fruit basket is a wonderfully artistic shadow!

Love the green and orange colour combo! And it's lovely to see you have some sun at last! Judging by your previous posts of the week it seems you've had lots and lots of snow! I wish you happy sunny days ahead for the week :)
