Little Faces

These little faces started off as polka dots, inspired by this month's theme on A Year of Colour. They started to look like little faces once the background was painted so that's what they became. Then I tried a second time-some of these faces are stolen from Albrecht Durer, from a lovely book I bought at the weekend. I love his work. I have done a third set but they are looking more like roses.
These lovely little Easter faces are from Vanessa here. Thanks Vanessa!
Have a lovely weekend!

I imagine your house coming alive at night, with a suspiration of tiny voices, like leaves rustling in a basement breeze.

I think your polka dot faces are absolutely fabulous! I hope you do not mind but I would like to copy the idea in my art journal?

I love the polka dot people! I imagine them to be inside little crystal polka dots that when the light shines upon them they become like little stars in the dark.

You are incredibly talented and visually amazing in my book Sarah!

Sarah, two thumbs up and tons of gold stars by your name in my book. I agree with Brother T, they come to life at night... and magic happens.
Have you read the post apocalyptic "The Suicide Collectors"? Another you might enjoy...
Have a great great weekend.

Sarah, I love your faces! They are so wonderful. I've been thinking about doing something with faces but not like that. What a wonderful idea for a journal page!! I've been thinking about using plastic eggs to use as a base for paper mache and make faces. I haven't done it yet, but it's coming. Love the your creations from your previous posts too.

Happy Easter Sarah,

I like those polka dot faces. They remind me of a friend that use to collect all these kind of things.
